GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test

CONDUCTED BY- Indian Institute of Science (IIS) and
various Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) on behalf
of National Coordination Board (GATE), Ministry of
Human Resources Development (MHRD), Department
of Higher Education and Government of India.

IS FOR- Admission of candidates in prestigious
institutes in postgraduate courses in engineering
(M.E/M.Tech)

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2015


Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering (from
any stream)

Engineering final year candidates can also apply for
GATE 2015

Candidates should have passed their qualifying exam
from PCM ( Physics, Chemistry, Maths)


Reservation of Seats in GATE
2015
There is a provision for reservation of seats in GATE
2015.

Application Fee for General candidates is Rs. 1500/-

Application Fee for ST,SC,PwD,OBC candidates is
Rs. 750/-

Application Fee for Women candidates (of all
category) is Rs. 0/-
Application Form of GATE 2015
Application Form will be available online only.

GATE Online Application Processing System
(GOAPS) will be provided to send application request.

Application Fee can be paid online through Net
Banking or e-challan.

Signature and Photograph in Application Form should
be as per GATE norms.
Admit Card GATE 2015
Admit Card will be availability online.

Admit Card will be issued on 17th December 2014.

Candidates can download it from official website of
GATE.

Admit Card will not be sent via any other mode to
candidates
GATE 2015 Result
Result of GATE 2015 will be declared on 12 March
2015.

Result will be issued online.

Cut off will be declared after result
