Key duties/responsibilities for project assistant


1. Attend project team meetings, and take notes on available project
outlines/resource materials/HR requirements/budgetary details etc.
2. Develop and plan on to bring efficiency and effectiveness in the project
schedule and work approach.
3. Manage office calls, respond to queries, screen calls for message, forward
calls to proper recipient etc.
4. Keep updated about the project development and perform necessary
communication to followup on deadlines and changes in project schedules.
5. Prepare project proposals/guidelines, contract agreements, project report
presentation etc.
6. Maintain email correspondences with relevant contacts, write or respond to
emails.
7. Keep records of project/marketing/event reports, necessary project files
and documents, or any other relevant correspondences etc.
8. Manage discipline within the team and check on necessary HR hiring and
termination related decisions.
9. Schedule/organize necessary meeting, set up agendas, communicate
meeting schedules, and book meeting/conference halls.
10. Keep liaison with vendors, publicists, media and other stakeholders etc.

Key job qualifications for project assistant

1. Bachelors degree with 3 years experience, or equivalent


2. Ability to assess priorities and operate in a flexible manner in order
to meet the dynamic needs of the team
3. Strong analytic and communication (oral and written) skills
necessary to interact with all levels of management
4. Attention to and precision with detail, comfort with financial data.
5. Ability to work independently and process quickly, independently
prioritizing work activities
6. Demonstrated experience in using computer-based tools including
electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and database products
7. Knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Basic understanding of information technology design and
development
