Class 1 The Process of

Writing
This class related to basic concept of writing
process
Learn how to go through a number of stages in
writing such as prewriting, outlining, writing and
revising a drafts
It is not just writing but we will do academic
writing and it is often employed to refer to the
kind of writing done in universities or colleges
Important things to be considered in academic
writing :
Audience : who will read your script
Tone : word selection, grammatical structures, length
of your sentences
Purpose : should be specific and clear, to share your
own view about a particular issue with the readers

Unit 2 Outlining
Second stage of the writing process => planning
or outlining
At the planning stage, you organize the ideas you
produced by brainstorming. The best way to do
this is to make an outline.
There are four steps in outlining :
