A policy is typically

QUALITY

quality noun (qualities) 1 the degree or extent of

excellence of something. 2 a general excellence; high
standard

THERE ARE SEVERAL PRINCIPLES IN RELATION TO QUALITY

ASSURANCE, BELOW ARE TWO FITTING ONES:

FIT FOR PURPOSE"- THE PRODUCT/SERVICE SHOULD BE SUITABLE FOR THE

INTENDED PURPOSE. THIS MEANS PLAINLY ENSURING THE CORRECT
RESOURCES ARE AVAILED FOR THE EXPECTED CASE.

"RIGHT FIRST TIME", MISTAKES SHOULD BE ELIMINATED. IN

SURGERY, MISTAKES ARE NOT TOLERATED, THUS, AND
ULTIMATELY PROPER PREPARATION SHALL BE KEY IN
ASSURING BEST RESULTS.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality assurance, or QA (in use from

1973) for short, is the systematic
monitoring and evaluation of the various
aspects of a project, service or facility to
maximize the probability that minimum
standards of quality are being attained by
the production process
