CIDLIA SOUSA | CLUDIA ABREU | VANESSA REIS ESTEVES

Writing part 1

In this part you have to complete the

second sentence so that it means the
same as the first sentence.

This part is NOT about writing. It is about

GRAMMAR.

The questions are TRANSFORMATIONS,

for example changing a sentence from
passive to active.

You can use ONE, TWO, or THREE words

ONLY.

Writing part 1

There are five transformation questions to

answer.

Each question is worth 1% of the total PET

mark.

A spelling mistake in an answer means a

zero for that question.

You only have 5 - 10 minutes to complete

Part 1 so you have to be fast.

Writing part 1

Read the first sentence.

Check you understand the meaning of it

and then read the second sentence and
find the grammar and vocabulary that are
the same and different in both sentences.
