RSRP

RSRP is the poer of a sin!le resource element.

"# measures the poer of multiple resource elements used to transfer the reference si!nal $ut then ta%es an avera!e of them rather than summin! them.



Definition:



Reference si!nal received poer &RSRP'( is defined as the linear avera!e over the poer contri$utions &in )*+' of the resource elements that carry cell,specific reference si!nals ithin the considered measurement fre-uency $andidth.



For RSRP determination the cell,specific reference si!nals R accordin! /S 01.2 )0+ shall $e used. If the "# can relia$ly detect that R is availa$le it may use R in addition to R to determine RSRP.



If receiver diversity is in use $y the "#( the reported value shall not $e loer than the correspondin! RSRP of any of the individual diversity $ranches.
