Procedures on Irrigation Water

1. Provision of water through the surface.

a. Outbursts inundation free
If the flow of water so that the water level
exceeds the ground to the left of his right
(non-overflow water will be left and right).
b. Outbursts controlled flooding
How the water is drained from the trench on
one side of the fields, the water flowed into
the rice field located maupau predetermined
size.

c. System kalenan
Inundation given kalenan-kalenan made
parallel rows of plants, the water supplied
to the provider by using the pipe trench
or Hevel.

d. With a plot or check river flooding

Water delivery system is commonly used
for fruit crops by creating hollows under
the plants to be watered into the basin
irrigation system is open.

2. Provision of water through subsurface or infiltration

a. Impregnation with an open system
In this system flow into channels that have been
surrounding the fields, so that the water can seep to the
left or right. Generally given below the rooting zone and
above the water table. With the power of capillary rise
above the water so that the water can be absorbed and
utilized by plants.

b. Impregnation with a closed channel

In this system the water flow in porous pipes are
inserted into the soil so that water can be absorbed and
can seep into the surrounding soil. This method is rarely
used because the porous pipe used must be resistant to
the effects of water (not quickly rot) and
also
pemasanganya expensive.

3. Provision of water by watering
a. Provision of water by jet
How is emitted into the air by using a pipe berporasi
or transmit the rotating tool to obtain
equity, so
that the water falls over a plant that resembles rain.
This method is often referred to sprinkler irrigation.

b. Provision of water by drip

The supply of water in this way, the water
flowed using pipes in a particular place given
water discharge line fittings (holes). The hole is
placed just above the ground but not too high, so
the water can drip continuously, this way called
trickle irrigation.

Existing Irrigation System

1. conventional systems
These systems rely on the topography, the
difference in water level in the water source with
high groundwater levels to be irrigated should be
enough or may be water source is described with
a power pump.

2. Tidal Systems
That is the face of high land available is
influenced by the state of the ocean tides (not
constant).

3. Coastal water systems

The system is there are areas where the
beach is a combination of tidal and
conventional systems. But in this system
required the door regulator to regulate the
flow of water into agricultural plots.
4. Polder water system
That irrigation system in a way to localize
an area by using dikes, in order to obtain
water
system
separate
from
the
surrounding water system. This system is
rarely used because it is expensive.
