Pathogenesis

Light infections are generally asymptoms. In heavy infections, symptoms may be bloody stools, pain in the lower abdomen, weight loss, rectal prolapse( 直肠脱 垂 ) , nausea, malnutrition and anemia. In the case of rectal prolapse, adults can be observed.

Diagnosis

Finding of eggs in feces.

Treatment
Mebendazole (甲苯咪唑 ) or albendazole (阿苯 哒唑) , the drugs of choice are most effective
