History of the printing press

 

The first printing press was made in Germany by a goldsmith named Johannes Gutenberg around 1440. It was discovered that you can make books instead of writing them out word for word.

Created paperback and hardcover books, posters, pictures and many other things.  Also created jobs in pulp mills and printer factories.  Made money for people in the Renaissance who sold books for little pay  Effected the world by getting information around faster.
 
