Road Safety Tips

Watch for pedestrians and reduce your speed to below the posted
speed limit in school zones.

Wear reflective gear to be visible at night to other road users. Ensure

your bike is fitted with a bell, light and reflective tape.
Wear a helmet and protect yourself from head injuries.
Always stop for school buses when signals are flashing.
Reminder to all road users to slow down and move over for emergency
vehicles. New legislation also requires the same for tow trucks.
For collisions that do not involve injuries or criminal violation, and
where the vehicle is drivable, move out of the roadway and report to a
Collision Reporting Centre within 24 hours.
