In Magura Codlea spruce and fir floor is first, followed beech floor. It is an inversion of arrangement of the vegetation because of the low temperature which remain in the depression. Because of Codlea temperature inversions can be observed the inversion in arrangement of the vegetation. Meet the spruce forests at the foot M gurii, and pure beech forests on the thread valleys and sunny slopes, or mixed with oak, covering Magura up near the top. Spruce & fir forests are monotonous forests, dense and full of darkness . This, together with thick layer formed on the ground of fir, cones, broken branches, make shrubs and grasses are not present in forests of spruce and fir. The beech forests forming Codlea-forest , are around with elm wood, maple, ash trees and shrubs like blueberry, raspberry, hazelnut.. Under thickset of these forests, grass vegetation is rare, represented by sedge, cock ridge, dock rabbit, ferns, mosses and fungi, Ramsons. Red fescue grass meadows and wind from the deforested heights are used as pasture and meadow.
