Male Reproductive Organs

1. Mention in good order the male
reproductive organs!
Male Reproductive Organs
A pair of testis
Urethra
Scrotum

Two Semen Sacs

Epididymis
Prostate Gland

Penis

Vas Deferens

Sperm tubulous

Cowper Gland

2. Mention the functions of the organs

below!
a) Testis : to produce sperm
b) Sperm tube
: to save sperm
before released
through in
penis.
c) Seminal gland: to release liquid and
receive
sperm before that sperm
enter urethra. Semen liquid and
sperm are called semen.

3. Read the article entitled Related to

Physics in your
book. Sperm head has a
streamline form and its tail is very active.
Guess why a sperm has a streamlined head
and an active tail?
For swim quickly to uterus and can enter to
ovum.

4. Guess what the function of the

tail in sperm is.
The sperm tail has function to make it
moving and swim to vagina or to
uterus.

Female Reproductive
Organs

1. Mention in good order the female

reproductive organs!
Female Reproductive Organs
Ovary

Cervix

Oviduct

Vagina

Uterus

Fallopian tube

2. Mention the function of these

organ
a) Ovary: to Produce the egg cell.
b) Fallopian tube: forms a pair of open
funnel near the ovary surface, its
wall has cilia that function to help
move the ovum.
c) Womb (uterus): that is a place of
growth and development of embryo
during pregnancy period.

3. Explain the differences between

fraternal and identical twins.
If fraternal There are more than
one egg is attached to the womb wall
by the sperm cells at the same time
but identical twins only one egg is
attached to the womb wall by the
sperm cells.

4. Why is there only one sperm

which can get into an egg during
fertilization?
Because ovum forms membrane
that cant be penetrated by another
sperm.

5. Explain how fertilization process

happen in the Fallopian tube.
Ripe ovum released by the ovary. Then
its caught by the cilia found in the funnel of
tuba fallopi. On the other hand, the sperm that
enter to vagina will swim to cervix trough the
uterus and goes to tuba fallopi to fertilize the
ovums. Many sperm die in that journey. The
ovum that alredy exists in the tuba fallopi is
ready to fertilized. So after the sperm arrives
at the tuba fallopi, one sperm will penetrate
the ovum, but what enters to the ovum is only
the head of sperm, while its tail keeps lying
outside. Sperm nucleus joins with the ovum
nucleus. The joining of Sperm nucleus and
ovum nucleus is called fertilization process.

6. What is the use of placenta ?

The placenta connects the embryo
with uterus wall through the central chord
that contains blood vessel of artery and
vena, so food substance and oxygen are
absorbed
from
its
mother
trough
placenta. The wide placenta surface has
functionfor subtances exchange between
embriyo and its mother.

7. Explain what does fertilization

and explain kinds of fertilization!
The placenta connects the embryo
with uterus wall through the central chord
that contains blood vessel of artery and
vena, so food substance and oxygen are
absorbed
from
its
mother
trough
placenta. The wide placenta surface has
functionfor subtances exchange between
embriyo and its mother. And the kinds of
fertilization is Animal fertilization, plant
fertilization and human fertilization.

8. What is the meaning of

ovulation !
Ovulation is the process in a
female's menstrual cycle by which a
mature ovarian follicle ruptures and
discharges an ovum.

9. Explain what does

menstruation!
The uterus wall that has thickened
and contains blood vessels will be
broken and dissolve, so bledding
happen.

10. Write down diseases in human

Reproduction System.
Disease

Phenomena

Effect

1. Aids

Hot and cold fever

like flu disease

Problems during
childbirth.

2. The Gonorrhea

Secretion of puslike
liquid

3. The Syphilis

The swelling of
lymphatic gland on
she thigh

Problems during
childbirth.

4. The Genital Herpes

The appearance of
itches or pain on the
genitals.

Endanger the baby's

heart and brain.

5. The Candidiasis

The appearance of
