Natural, carnal, motivated by sin.
Contradicts the spirit of holiness
The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and boastful pride

(1 Jn. 2:16)

The spirit of the antichrist


Violent opposition to God.
Evil, spiritual, motivated by spiritual forces of wickedness.
Deceives, tempts, accuses, destroys.
This is the spirit of the antichristone who denies the Father and the Son (1 Jn. 2:22, 4:3)
