A guide to club offerings for CHS students

(Grade 9-12).
DIRECTIONS: Students will be assigned one
club. Selections will be identified by
choosing a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. Choices
will be granted based on seniority (12th, 11th,
10th, 9th). Results of club choices will be
reviewed to determine number of
participants.

Students will train for Del Mar Sports Events and City Runs. Racquetball.  Interested in learning about fitness and exercise? Join the fitness club and take advantage of the gym on campus. Interested in Beach to Bay? Come join our team. and use of the weight room (must be 16 or enrolled in the Weight Training Course) will be available. this club is for you!  We will start with Theatre "basics" so if you don't have any experience but are interested in performing. or just pretend to be someone else once in a while. Join the Theatre Arts Club and help create "drama" at Collegiate!  If you like to act. sing. this is a great place to begin!  Scrapbook/Arts and Crafts Club is an organization that enables the expression of creativity outside the classroom. Students interested in art experiences are invited to join this club! We support and promote student’s art products by displaying them within the school as well as raising funds for exhibitions! Slide mouse over blue button to return to list of clubs .

  The application for yearbook staff includes completing a “Spread” design on paper. completing pages by deadline.  Some after school meetings may be necessary as deadlines approach. sophomores. and freshman applicants. Slide mouse over blue button to return to list of clubs . and working independently on assigned pages.  Please note yearbook staff must work beyond the club schedule time by attending events.   The Scroll Club is looking for juniors. An application must be completed.

Students must own or have access to a musical instrument. write. and/or develop music with your peers? Join a dynamic group of experienced musicians to create own music/performances.

how to read and draw Japanese-style manga. Do you like sushi? How about anime or manga? Well then this is the club for you! Anianga is all about Japanese culture. From Anime to Yoshoku Dishes. you'll learn the culture and history of the wonderful world of Japan. you'll get a taste of Japanese entertainment and Japanese food.

you and your friends can improve the environment. If you want to make a difference. Through community service projects and fundraisers. join the Optimist club. shelter the homeless. and support lots of kids with special needs! this is the club for you! The club will be involved in crafting and editing creative works in various genres. . writing workshops. We will also spend some time learning about creative writers throughout history as a means of appreciating and improving our own abilities. . Students of all creative talents are welcome! Our ultimate goal is the publication of a school-wide literary anthology. but we will engage in other literary activities along the way . including guest speakers.

To add interest to the art of dance. Time outside of club time may be necessary to prepare for performances.  Stomp is a non-traditional dance troupe that uses various forms of body movements with different styles of music.
