With the benefit of hindsight, I would change the planning and the research
part of the production. I would focus on changing the storyboard and the
storyline. This is because we couldnt decide on a storyline, this meant not
only did the storyline change constantly but this also meant that the
storyboard had to be constantly changed. For the future, I will just focus on
the storyline and make sure that it is to our expectations and that we have
every detail that we need to make our story before focusing on the
storyboard, this will prevent any major changes to the storyboard.

BEFORE?

During the process of creating our media production, I learnt many things
along the way. The main thing I didnt know before was how to use the editing
software. I have now become familiar with Premier Pro, and I am now
confident with the editing of the production, and now I am able to use it in the
future if need be.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU PASS

ON?
The main piece of advice that I would pass on, is in order to create a
successful blog, the presentation of each post is important, and to make sure
that you have a platform that is available for everyone to access. This will
help because it allows people to not only view the blog but also comment on
any posts that they feel helped them or may need improving.

The software that was used in order to edit our production was a slightly
difficult to understand and use. It was difficult to use when adding effects,
such as colour correction or an overlay to a scene, because we had to make
sure we were adding effects from the very beginning of the scene otherwise
the effect needed would not work correctly. A major disadvantage we had was
when the computer we were using to edit our production crashed and we lost
our work. Resulting in us to redo some of the work again that had already
been completed and this then meant that we were behind the schedule that
we had created.

WHAT COULD YOU HAVE DONE, BUT DIDNT?

One thing that we could have focused on doing ourselves was creating our
own music to use in our production. Instead of doing this we decided to use
copyright free music. Also, when filming due to the weather, some shots
didnt not come out as well as expected.
