A little about
me!!
I am a dually certified teacher and I have been
in the school system in the USA for over 12
years.
I have worked in first, second, and third grades.
I LOVE TEACHING!!!

Classroom Behavior
Every day is a fresh start.
Each student is expected to follow all

classroom rules.
You will receive daily updates on your
childs behavior in their homework
planner and from Dojo.
Children will be taught through modeling,
reinforcement, and repetition.

Readers Workshop
Shop for books 2-3 times per week for their book
bin.

Teacher will teach lesson and students will read

independently and then with a buddy.

Teacher and assistant conference meet with and

conference with students based on their level of need.

Your child may bring home a book on their level to

read. (some nights) and/or can use RazKids and
Starfall for other help.

Procedures
Monday folders will be sent home each week with
your childs work, notices, and important
information. Please return on Tuesday.

Homework will be turned in once per week, on

Friday. All students will have a homework planner

with the daily assignments. The planner should be
sent back to school the next day so your child can
write their homework and any notes in it to bring
home. You may send notes or other information
that you would like the teacher to know in the
homework planner or contact me on the class dojo.

water or a refillable water bottle and
a hat for your child to be used at
outside time.
