Description

The bathroom remodel will be the renovation

of an outdated pre-existing master bathroom for
Lisa and Brian Richards. Currently the area is
too small and needs to be expanded into an
adjacent closet. The fixtures in the bathroom also
need updating.

Q: Do you know the current plumbing plan?

A: There is plumbing where the current lavatory, tub,
and toilets are located that all translate to the plumbing in
the laundry room below. A closet in the laundry room
could be utilized if plumbing needed to be moved around
a bit.
Q: What is the budget?
A: $15,000-$20,000
Q: What ideas do you have for how you would like
the bathroom to be set up?
A: Knock out the closet wall. Toilet and sink in the
same place, but with a double sink. Shower in the corner
nearest the door and tub under the window. Probably a
vanity between the two. Rainfall shower head.
Q: Do you want to bathroom to match the
downstairs bathroom?
A: No
Q: What are some must haves for the bathroom?
A: Double sink, soaking tub, walk in shower (tiled)

Description

The final solution is a remodeled master

bathroom that takes into consideration the
current plumbing of the space while also
including all of the user specifications. Removing
the closet wall helped open up the bathroom
area. The final price of the remodel is about
$17,000. The bathroom includes a large shower
and vanity area. The tub has shelving and is
positioned near the window for a view of the
ocean outside. Overall the plan results in a
spacious master bathroom.
