Luke 7:18-22

Prepare the way for the Lord;

make His paths straight! Every
valley will be filled, and every
mountain and hill will be made
low; the crooked will become
straight, the rough ways smooth,
and everyone will see the
salvation of God. (Luke 3:4-6)

I baptize you with water, but

One is coming who is more
powerful than I. I am not worthy
to untie the strap of His sandals.
He will baptize you with the Holy
Spirit and fire. (Luke 3:16)

You are My beloved Son; in You

I am well pleased. (Luke 3:22)

Then Johns disciples told him

about all these things.

So John summoned two of his

disciples 19 and sent them to the
Lord, asking, Are You the One
who is to come, or should we look
for someone else? 20 When the
men reached Him, they said,
John the Baptist sent us to ask
You, Are You the One who is to
come, or should we look for
someone else?

At that time Jesus healed many

people of diseases, plagues, and
evil spirits, and He granted sight
to many blind people. 22 He
replied to them, Go and report
to John the things you have seen
and heard:

The blind receive their sight, the

lame walk, those with skin
diseases are healed, the deaf
hear, the dead are raised, and the
poor have the good news
preached to them.

Among those born of women no

For I am persuaded that neither

death nor life, nor angels nor
rulers, nor things present, nor
things to come, nor powers, nor
height, nor depth, nor any other

to separate us from the love of
God that is in Christ Jesus our

We know that all things work

together for the good of those
who love God: those who are
called according to His purpose.

Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down
from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast
by turning. (James 1:17 HCSB)

Because of the extraordinary revelations, so that I would not exalt

myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to
torment me so I would not exalt myself. Concerning this, I pleaded with
the Lord three times to take it away from me.

But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is

perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more
about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may reside in me.
(2 Corinthians 12:7-9 HCSB)

God works all things work together for the good of those who love
God: those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Synergy: The working together of various elements to

produce an effect greater than, and often completely
different from the sum of each element acting separately.

He led you through the great and terrible wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, a thirsty land
where there was no water. He brought water out of the flintlike rock for you. He fed you in the wilderness
with manna that your fathers had not known, in order to humble and test you, so that in the end He might
cause you to prosper.
(Deuteronomy 8:15-16 HCSB)

We never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed
every day. For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet
they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever!
(2 Corinthians 4:16-17 NLT)

For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so
30 And those He predestined, He also
that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. 30
called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified.
