Docking Ports Industrial and storage

Docking Ports Rotation will be initiated by means of an engine placed inside the hub. In order to maintain this the engine will be periodically turned on so as to regain the original rate of rotation Artificial Gravity: ‡Rate of rotation= 0.84rpm or 0.088rad/s ‡Pseudo-gravity provided to residential surfaces= 0.8g. ‡We have zero-g(g. Central axle, central hub, docking ports) as well as low-g(vertical cylinders) surfaces apart from the residential surfaces. ‡Low-g has been used for highly efficient agricultural and industrial purposes. Rotating and Non-rotating structures: ‡The quard-tori and cylindrical structures are rotating about the central axle to produce pseudo-gravity along with the spokes. ‡Air bearings are used to hold the rotating and the non-rotating structures together, producing minimum friction so as to provide a structural interface between the volumes.

Docking ports ‡ Provision for docking of about 100 ships. ‡ Hexahedral (Honey-comb)design increases strength, helps to maintain a network on pipelines and arrangement of the spacecrafts. ‡ Refueling pipelines present in the walls of the hexahedral design. ‡ Larger crafts are clamped on the outer surface of the port. ‡ Maintenance of damaged aircrafts is taken care of in the hangers. ‡ Aircrafts landing solely for refueling have a provision outside the port. ‡ Space bridges will be provided to transfer people and cargo.

Space ports for cargo and transient to facilitate residents of other settlements and generate revenue.

A separate torus, lying slightly below the hub, has been constructed for the sole purpose of cargo storage to accommodate a major part of the 2000 tones of cargo. In order to provide with expanded capabilities we have also provided with storage are in the underground sections of all units of volume.
