• External illiac artery------femoral artery (groin)--------profunda femoris artery(thigh)-------anterior tibial artery +posterior tibial artery (lower leg) +dorsalis pedis artery in dorsum .

Saphena varix • Dilatation of saphneous vein at its confluence with femoral vein • The saphenofemoral junction • Have a bluish tinge .

Perthe’s test • To know if deep femoral veins are competent • Stand pt • Torniquet at mid thigh • Pt walks for 5 min • If no filling of veins below means patent deep femorals and communicating veins .

Abdominal aneurysm • Dilatation of vessel • Abnormal dilatation • Smoking • Htn • Family history of AAA .
