The Story Behind the Flag
The color green color represents the Native people of Ireland

The orange color stands for the British supporters of William of Orange who
settled in Northern Ireland in the 17th century

The white in the center represents the peace between the two people

Celebrated in honor of the countrys patron saint

Celebrates the countrys rich culture and heritage with parades, dancing, music,
food and plenty of beer.
Boxty (Potato Pancakes)
Place grated raw potatoes in a clean cloth and twist to remove excess moisture

Combine flour mixture into raw potatoes, mashed potatoes and eggs

Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil

Drop potato batter into skillet by spoon

Cook until brown


Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher is an 8km long 214m stretch of cliffs along the Atlantic coast
of County Clare in the west of Ireland

People may want to visit because of the views and on a clear day one can see
the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, as well as the Twelve Pins and the Maum
Turk mountains in Connemara, Loop Head to the south and the Dingle
Peninsula and Blasket Islands in Kerry.
