I THINK ARCHITECTURE IS RARELY THE PRODUCT OF A SINGLE I BELIEVE THAT ARCHITECTURE, AS ANYTHING ELSE IN
IDEOLOGY. IT'S MORE LIKE IT CAN BE SHAPED BY A REALLY BIG LIFE, IS EVOLUTIONARY. IDEAS EVOLVE; THEY DONT COME
IDEA. IT CAN ACCOMMODATE A LOT OF LIFE FORMS. FROM OUTER SPACE AND CRASH INTO THE DRAWING
BOARD.

CONCEPT
Referring to his second example of "architectural alchemy",
Bjarke Ingels explains his idea "that by mixing traditional
ingredients, retail, rowhouses and apartments in untraditional
ways, you create added value, if not gold."They are connected
by a promenade and a cycle track which reach up to the 10th
floor, allowing businesses and housing to co-exist

. Instead of dividing the different functions of the building- for


both habitation and trades- in separate blocks, they have been
spread out horizontally.`

The bow shaped building created two distinct spaces,


separated by the center of the bow which host the communal
facilities
