CHAPTER-VII
FINDINGS & SUGGESTIONS
The business is a demand oriented one , where the
production is dependent on the number of units required to
be produced.
The production activities did not follow a set plan.
Centralized purchase department which was responsible for
ordering and procuring raw materials.
Raw material orders were placed when required , which lead
to non availability of raw materials when required .
Delay in shipment of raw materials by suppliers.
Automation should be brought into force, thus cost can be reduced and volume of
production can also be increased.
We suggest Vijay power control system to implement a production planning, to
plan the production activities in advance to eliminate work stoppage.
