## Pangsa Perindu Blok A,

Butterworth.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this lesson, we are able to:
i. Determination of boundary mark and datum.
ii. Compute third mark between PO and observation.
iii. Perform daily check and DFT.
iv. Perform solar observataion.
v. Determination of height of each storey and measurement of the dimension of the unit.
Datum to Start Survey vs Datum Cadastral
Datum Cadastral Datum to Start Survey
i. NDCDB point. If there is no boundary mark are found or not
able to stand on the boundary mark.
i. Assumed bearing.
Solar Obs, Daily Check and DFT
Differential Field Test (DFT)
Daily Check i. Carried out at the start of every new survey job.
i. Carried out at the start of everyday job. ii. If the DFT exceed the limit 0.010m, the total station
ii. It can be done by re-measuring the distance of the last need calibration.
surveyed line on the previous day. iii. Procedure:

Solar Observation
i. It is carried out in the early morning and late evening.
ii. 2 sets of observation with grid bearing differ by not
more than 10.
iii. Distance between observation station to RO should
not less than 30m

Detailing
Raw data from TS:
Survey to Determine the Heights of Each Storey
Survey to determine the heights of each storey:

## i. Survey to determine the heights of each storey is to be

carried out and recorded to the nearest 0.01m.
ii. To measure the level of each floor, the instrument is
called Distometer through the stairs of the building.
Share Unit
Determining share unit:
The calculation of share unit is based on type of parcel, area of overall floor parcel and accessory parcel if
available.

## Calculation of share unit:

A x F1 x F2 + sum of (BxF3)
