• How HRD mechanisms will impact on the general climate of select cement companies. • Which kind of support from managerial staff to non managerial staff with respect to HRD Climate. • How far the employees are satisfied with the current HRD Climate in select cement companies . Research Questions • What is the level of HRD Climate in Select cement companies? • How the general climate will impact on the OCTAPACE culture in select cement companies.

Data Collection • Total Nine cement companies( 10 cement plants)in Rayalaseema Region • No . Zuvari. Dalmia • By using sample size determination formula total sample size is 320 .of employees = 1873 • (only permanent employees not included wage board employees) • At present 172 sample size collected( by using stratified proportionate sampling) from three companies namely bharathi.

. • To analyze the perceptions of managerial and non managerial personnel about HRD climate in the select cement companies in Rayalaseema Region. • To examine the impact of HRD climate factors towards employee satisfaction in select cement companies in Rayalaseema Region • To offer some useful suggestions for the improvement of HRD climate in select cement companies in Rayalaseema Region. Objectives of the study • To examine the existing HRD Climate in the select cement companies in Rayalaseema Region.

Hypothesis of the study • Ho1: There is no significant difference between blue collar and white colored employees interpret to their perceptions on the HRD Climate • Ho2: There is no close association between employee perceptions towards HRD Climate and their educational qualifications. • Ho5: The perceptions of employee towards HRD Climate of an organization are independent of experience. • Ho7: There is no positive and significant relationship between HRD mechanisms and general climate of cement companies . • Ho6: There is no positive and significant relationship between OCTAPACE culture and general climate of select cement companies. • Ho3: There is no significant relationship and impact of the HRD Climate on employee’s satisfaction • Ho4: The perceptions of Employee towards HRD Climate of an organization are independent of Experience.

The sample size for the present study is determined based on the following formula. . • X2 = the table value of chi-square for 1 degree of freedom at the desired confidence level • (3. • Source: EDUCATIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT 1970. • d = the degree of accuracy expressed as a proportion (.50 since this would provide the maximum • sample size).841). • N = the population size. Sample Size • Sample Size refers to the number of items to be selected from the universe to constitute a sample. 30. »s = X 2NP(1− P) ÷ d 2 (N −1) + X 2P(1− P). • P = the population proportion (assumed to be . 607-610. .05). »S=320 • s = required sample size.
