PIPING DESIGN
TRAINING WORKSHOP

Course Objectives
To give participants a clear understanding of:
The Piping Design work group structure The work flow through the Piping Design work groups Piping Design phases of work for the typical project Major functions of the Piping Design Department Key input requirements to the Piping Design work phases

Course Objectives (cont.)
To give participants a clear understanding of:
Key work products of the Piping Design work groups Application of automation tools to the Piping Design work process

Working with Piping Group
‡ Pipe Stress, Structural, Mechanical / Process and Instrument engineering groups work closely with piping. ‡ Need good flow of engineering data transferred between groups for a successful project. ‡ Piping group can be helpful to provide an understanding of how a project develops and the interfaces between groups. ‡ Schedule of deliverables from piping are high profile within project and client.
