• USP: This place is favourable for sunbathing and surfing. 11th century temple dedicated to Lord Narasimhan

• The beach offers exciting opportunity to explore the poignant Dutch cemeteries located along the beach.
• The coconut trees bordering the beach just add to the appeal and beauty of the place. The cool ocean breeze,
the blue skies, the golden sands and the inviting waves of the sea make a heady mix that is worth
experiencing.
• Swimming, sunbathing and beach volleyball are popular activities on the beach. An aquarium, the Kali
temple, Visakha Museum, roadside restaurants offering seafood are other attractions.
• The best known attraction is the INS Kursura Submarine Museum, which preserves the
eponymous submarine for public display and access on the beach. There is also a newly Opened Aircraft
Mueseum TU-142 opposite to INS Kurusura Submarine Museum.
 Rishi Konda Beach
• Location : Vishakhapatnam, about 8km away from the main city
• USP-This beach is famous for outings of love birds.

• There is a 14th century temple on Rishikonda beach called Sapta Rusheswara Temple
• The state tourism is promoting water sports activities here. Besides taking a ride in the speedboats, you can
enjoy water skiing, speed boating, sunbathing, wind surfing and swimming. Since this beach is a little away
from town, most visitors leave by late evening.
 Surya Lanka Beach(Bapatla)
• Location: 9 Km From Bapatla Town
• Commonly Visited From: Vijayawada
• USP: The major tourist attraction of the beach is the sightseeing for dolphins in the month of November.

• Yarada beach is perhaps one of the cleanliest and safest beaches in India right now. The
entire area is covered with hundreds of banana and coconut plantations.
• There isn’t much of an infrastructure development in this area excepting some property
that is being developed by a private party, Agrigold, which had taken a part of the beach on
lease from the Government and done some landscaping and developed a garden inside.
Agrigold collects a fee of Rupees 30 to enter their property and access the shops and a
restaurant there.
• As you reach the beach you will be welcomed with very clean crystal waters and golden
sands. It is not advisable to swim in this area as the sea here is fierce and the slope of the
beach is quite steep too. You can instead enjoy a picnic here or simply spend some quiet
time and refresh yourself.
 Mypadu
Location- 25km away from Nellore city.

• Mypadu beach is one Andhra’s most picturesque beaches.
• Limited water sports like water scooter rides, volleyball court, fishing and Food stalls.
• The tree-lined golden sandy beach slips into the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal sea.
• Bask in the sun or bathe in the sea or take walk along the beach; round up your visit
with a snack break at the beachside stalls. The speedboats are the newest addition.
 Bheemunipatnam Beach
Location: 24 kilometers from the main city of Vishakhapatnam.

• Bheemunipatnam popularly known as Bheemili is famous for a picturesque beach. It is located at the mouth of
the river Gosthani which merges with Bay of Bengal at Bheemunipatnam.
• Bheemunipatnam was an important Buddhist center. Evidence of Buddhism has been found on the
Pavuralakonda hillock, which surrounds the beach. Several Buddhist remains have been found during
excavation.
• On the top of a hill, there is a light house and a small shrine dedicated to Lord Narasimha.
• St. Peter's Church, Maharaja's guest house, clock tower are the added attraction here.
• The beach is considered to be very safe for swimming. For history lovers, there are many architectural spots
and temples located in the vicinity.
 MANGINAPUDI BEACH
Location- 83 Kms from Vijayawada near Machilipatnam
• Usp: It has black soil instead of the sand like other beaches.

• On the banks of the sea coast, Dattashram is an ancient pilgrimage
site comprising a temple of Lord Shiva.
• A dance school on the beach side is quite famous for its classical
dance courses of Kuchipudi.
• Another popular festival of 'Krishna Utsav' held during the month of
February or March see a flock of devotees on the beachside.
 VODAREVU BEACH

• USP-Ramapuram Beach combining a visit to the Chirala village which is known for its
