Management As a Science

Management As an Art

Management can’t be referred as ‘exact science’ infact it is a behavioural science. The reason is Management deals with human beings whose behaviour can’t be predicted with surety.

Management cannot be compared to any fine arts. It deals with people whose behaviour is not exact. It is concerned with application of skills acknowledge and ability in solving the problems of the enterprise.

IILM BS

Therefore management is defined as both art and science. It is a science as if follows some universal principles which are based on proper observations accepted at all places in the organizations. It is an art because it requires creativity of skills and knowledge.

IILM BS

CONCLUSION
Management is all about creating an environment which deals with human behaviour and skills and to get work done through people.
