2 Operator-Control 2

Control Modes  Two kinds of Control Mode:  Direct Execute (DE)  Select Before Operate (SBO) Direct Execute: a control may be performed directly without selection SBO: the device must be selected before allowing execution 3 Operator-Control 3 .

Control Acknowledgement  Positive acknowledgement: no pop-up window appears  Negative acknowledgement: a control acknowledgement pop-up will appear to display negative control acknowledgement and to allow users with appropriate rights to by-pass the interlocking control verification. 4 Operator-Control 4 .
