LITERATURE REVIEW
[1] This paper proposes a unified load flow (lf) model for ac–dc hybrid distribution systems.
This paper contained mixed configurations for ac/dc buses and ac/dc lines. A set of generic lf
equations has been derived based on comprehensive analysis of the possible ac–dc hybrid
system configurations.

Flow Analysis of AC-DC Hybrid Distribution Systems” IEEE Trans Smartgrid, volume 4,no.2 ,pp 578-602, 2013.

[2] This paper introduces a novel distribution system architecture that can better
accommodate the expected growth in electricity. A bidirectional converter interconnects the
two layers and controls the power flows between them.

[3] Voltage source converter based hvdc technology is a kind of newly developed hvdc
transmission technology. This paper makes detailed analysis to the basic principle and the
structure of vsc-hvdc, and sets up the steady-state mathematical model of vsc-hvdc, under
fixed control parameters and fixed power flow control objectives respectively.

CONCLUSION
 The proposed model is applied for solving the Load Flow
problem of grid-connected and isolated hybrid distribution
systems that include a variety of loads, distribution generators,
buses, and lines. The results demonstrate that the proposed
load Flow model can provide an accurate solution while also
offering the flexibility and speed required for online smart-grid
applications. The 6 bus hybrid AC-DC system has the
appropriate set of data as per the real world, hence its
simulation will provide us with the requisite results needed for
the real world modelling.
