Acid Gas Removal Unit

The AGRU (Acid Gas Removal Unit) process is a separation of

H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) and CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) contained in
the gas using an amine solution through the absorption
process. The process of composing the equipment is the
absorber, regenerator, reboiler, condenser, cooler and reflux
drum as illustrated in Figure below

AGRU Liquid Tank Block Diagram

It is known that the flow in and out of the liquid tank is

Qout = 0.001266 m3/s. While the magnitude of the resistance,
R = H/Qout is equal to 545 s/m2.

Level Indicator Transmitter Block Diagram

To measure the high level of liquid in liquid tank used a sensor called
level indicating transmitter type differential pressure (111-LIT-0031)
that measures the liquid level in the time domain that transmits it in
the form of electrical signals of magnitude 4-20 mA.

Level Control Valve Block Diagram

Assuming the output of the control valve level is the flow-rate of the
liquid stream the magnitude 0 - 0.001266 m3/s and the input of the
control valve is 4-20mA. Then the gain level control valve is
0.000079125 m3/mA. s.Level control valve 111-LCV-0031 which has a
maximum flow rate of 0.001266 m3/s it will get the value of time
constant: rCV = 0.748 second.
