out.

replace fossil fuels, but
can also complement
each other.

Challenges

• Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

• Secondary recovery which an external fluid such as water or gas is injected
into the reservoir through injection wells located in rock that has fluid
communication with production wells, using formation water to avoid
contaminating riverine sources.

• Implement economic innovative to prevent oil spills.
