Shubham Saurabh Section- A, Group- 2, Sub Group- 2 Learnings • Scope Identification • Estimation • Shuttering Process and Execution • Reinforcement Process and Execution • Road Drain Process and Execution • Plastering Process and Execution Scope Identification This is a process of identifying scope of work for the project which involves studying of drawing and identifying the works that has to be constructed within the project. Estimation It is the process of estimating the quantities that is required to construct the project, it is being done by studying the drawing of the structures and calculating the quantities as per the dimensions. Shuttering The Process of shuttering is identified as: Support Beam bottom Beam side Slab Execution: • Shuttering is being executed as per the sequence identified. • Support is checked properly for strength. • Leveling work is done to level the shuttering work. • Any gap has to be filled to arrest the slurry leakage. Reinforcement The Process involved in reinforcement is: Cutting Bending Binding Execution: • First step is preparing the bar bending schedule as per the drawing. • Next is to cut the bars as per the schedule. • Next step is to bend the bars as per the schedule. • Last step is to bind the bars as per the drawing. Road Drain The Process involved in Road Drain Construction is: Marking Excavation PCC Brick Work Plastering Execution: • It is being done as per the sequence identified Plastering The Process involved in Plastering is: Hacking Mesh Fixing Bull Fixing Plastering Execution: • First step is hacking on concrete surface. • Mesh fixing is done to reduce cracks by thermal effect, which is done at the joint of brick work and concrete. • Bull fixing is done to make a uniform thickness of the plaster. • Plastering is done on layer wise and checked for any undulations and that has to be rectified if any.
