Saint Mary of the
Immaculate

A little about me...
I grew up in Lancaster County in PA and
graduated from PSU with a BS in
Elementary Education in 2000.

Ohio is the 5th state in which I have been
certified to teach. Others include PA, CT,
MD, and MA. I most recently taught 4th
grade at a catholic school in MA.

My husband was hired as the Curator of
Secrest Arboretum, and we relocated to OH
after Christmas of 2017.
At home...
I have been married to my husband,
Jason, for almost 17 years.
We have four children: Ethan is 14 in
eighth grade. Elliot is 13 in seventh
grade. Evie is 11 in sixth grade. Faith
is 7 and is in 2ndt grade.
I enjoy knitting and reading. I have a
dog and 3 cats and look forward to a
short commute.
Classroom Economy
Students will receive a salary for a class job.

We will be using an online banking system. All class money
will be electronic.

Students can use class money to buy privileges or gifts at our
class store.

We will tie in Class DoJo. Points will translate into
additional class money deposited or withdrawn from the
online account. (student, parent)
Homework
Students will be asked to write their homework
assignments in their agendas each day.
Homework will be posted online on our class
website along with spelling words and other
important information.
Homework is based on previously taught skills
and should be able to be done independently by
the student.
Classwork

Students will be asked to complete classwork in a
reasonable amount of time.
If not completed, students will be expected to take
work home or stay in at recess to finish.
Yellow Slips
Students will receive a yellow slip when work is
overdue.
Please sign and return yellow slips. I will contact
you if I do not see them coming back.
If I see a pattern of yellow slips, I will contact you
directly to develop a plan of action which can
involve after school homework room.
