ABSTRACT

 Photovoltaic power generation has already made a foothold in

the present world and furthermore, concentrating solar power
technology for power generation is also on an improvement
stage. So, our main objective was to derive a system that
would provide maximum output with minimal input. We used
solar power technology for the process. Now in order to utilize
both the outputs we must synchronize its frequency as well its
phase, therefore this can be done by equipping the system
with a synchronizing circuit which would comprise a micro-
controller. This emergency elevator system is designed to
evacuate people from a high-rise building during an
emergency conditions. This system can facilitate emergency
entry of rescue workers as well as emergency exit of people
from the building and at the same time while using only the
weight of the passengers in the absence of electric power.
AIM AND OBJECTIVE

 The design of the new system which

operate when electricity is off.
 No conventional fuel use like petrol, diesel,
gas etc.
 Eco friendly
 Handling must be easy
 It is having Higher efficiency
 Easy to conveyance
 Works at emergency conditions
Introduction
 WHY WE SELECTED THIS PROJECT?

 This emergency elevator system is designed to

evacuate people from a high-rise building during an
emergency conditions.
 This system can facilitate emergency entry of
rescue workers as well as emergency exit of
people from the building and at the same time
while using only the weight of the passengers in
the absence of electric power.
 This elevator system will help people escape from
a disaster-stricken building while transporting
rescue workers to the affected floors in the building
at the same time – as efficiently, safely and quickly
as possible.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
 Power is generated and supplied from the solar
panel. When the main supply is on the solar panel
gets charged from the main supply with the help of
filters and rectifiers. As soon as the main supply
goes of the shifting circuit shifts the entire system
from main supply to the inverter supply, thus the
systems keeps running for some seconds even
after the main supply is off, this few seconds are
enough for the elevator to reach safely to the
nearest floor. After the elevator reaches the
nearest floor the entire system shuts down till the
main supply starts again. When the main supply
starts the solar panel again gets charged and gets
ready to supply in times of need.

ADVANTAGES
 Very useful when electricity not available.
 charging is done by solar panel.
 No external power source required for
charging.
DISADVANTAGES
 Power back up is depending on the
SOLAR, so it will not work in monsoon
 In reality we need heavy battery so it can
generate power enough to run real motor.
 Increased cost.
APPLICATIONS
 Home.
 Commercial Building.
 most useful when power is cut.
 Industry.
 Shopping Mall.

FUTURE SCOPE
 With the help of college, we can actually
implement this project on real
application. The prototype is just
understanding the project working.
 Break adjustment needed more
accuracy.
 We can add microcontroller for vary the
speed, as well as automation can be
very helpful in future for handling such
kind of problem.
