. Even though before the prophethood of Muhammad Saw was a businessman but what was meant by the recording of the Prophet here was in Medina. the Prophet issued various policies which were followed and continued by his successors. khulafaurrasyidin. including in the economic field. Islamic economic thought is based on the Qur'an and the hadith of the life of the Prophet and the Muslim community in his time is the best example of the implementation of Islam. ECONOMY IN THE TIME OF THE PROPHET The history of Islamic economics began with the appointment of Muhammad as the messenger of Allah at the age of 40.

Before Islam came the situation of Yatsrib city was very uncertain because it did not have a fully sovereign leader. Therefore. they also promised to always safeguard the safety of the Prophet and his followers and help maintain and develop the teachings of Islam . . Law and government in this city never stand upright and society always lives in uncertainty. In the Makkah period the Muslim community had not had time to develop the economy because it was full of struggle to defend itself from intimidation by the Quraysh. several groups of residents of the city of Yatsrib took the initiative to meet the famous Prophet Muhammad Saw with the nature of al-amen (trusted) to ask him to be their leader. even though the economy in his time was relatively modest. It was only in the period of Medina that the Messenger of Allah led himself to build the  community of Medina so that it became a prosperous and civilized country. Economic efforts must be carried out ethically in the framework of Islamic sharia while economic resources must not accumulate on a handful of people but must circulate for the welfare of all people. but he had demonstrated principles that were fundamental to economic management. The market occupies an important role as an economic mechanism but the government and society also act actively in realizing prosperity and upholding justice.

This is done so that the problem between the poor and the rich is overcome in the Islamic economy at the time of the Prophet. Economic efforts must be carried out ethically in the framework of Islamic sharia. . Even economic resources cannot accumulate on someone but must be divided between communities. Rasulallah Saw was warmly welcomed and appointed as the leader of the population of the city of Yathrib.The Prophet Muhammad emigrated from the city of Mecca to the city of Yathrib according to the agreement in this fertile land.

Globalization is a term that has a relationship with an increase in the interdependence between nations and between people throughout the world through trade. investment. Economy in the Globalization Era There are those who see globalization as a social process. culture and other forms of interaction so that a country's boundaries become biased. . shipping. a historical process or a natural process that will bring all nations and countries in the world increasingly bound together. realizing a new order of life or the unity of co-existence by removing the geographical and cultural boundaries of society.
