1939 : Amerika (340 baris, 30 frame/detik) – 60 Hz
1941 : Amerika (525 baris) – 60 Hz
1953 : TV colour pertama diluncurkan USA – NTSC
1961 : SECAM di Perancis
1961 : PAL di German
1967 : Televisi warna diluncurkan di Inggris,
Perancis, dan Jerman (14 tahun setelah NTSC
Amerika)
