Introduction
Bending of plates, refers to the deflection of a plate
perpendicular to the plane of the plate under the action of
external forces and moments.
Deflections are one of the important parameters in design of
structural systems due to serviceability criteria.
The amount of deflection can be determined by solving the
differential equations of an appropriate plate theory.
Also stresses in the plate can be calculated from these
deflections. Once the stresses are known, failure theories can
be used to determine whether a plate will fail under a given
load.

Sciences on the solution of bending of simply supported plates by
double trigonometric series.
 He Considered a rectangular plate of sides a and b, simply
supported on all edges and subjected to a uniform load The origin
of the coordinates is placed at the upper left corner as shown in Fig

Lets take a =b (for square plate)

0.00406
Note:-
1. First term gives only 2.48% error.
(The solution is very fast converging to the exact solution)
2. Deflection obtained from double sine series is more than the exact
answer therefore its safer.
