Definitions

What is safety?

Safety is understood as all of the actions


taken to eliminate and reduce the risks
which could harm both the people and
the facilities as well as the environment
as a consequence of our operations.
Our HSE Policy

The aim of our Safety Policy consist in


establishing a safety Programme to prevent
occupational diseases and eliminate accidents
and their consequences from all Contractor’s
personnel, Subcontractors employees and any
other person involved in the activities of the
Project.
Our leadership

Health, Safety and Environmental has been


treated as an essential and inherent part of
the Project development. Particular attention
is drawn to the importance of senior
Management providing a visible commitment
Definitions

Accident
Is any undesired event which produces an alteration to a normal
working situation That may result in personal injury damage to
equipment or plant provoking material damage, to the environment,
or economic loss

Incident
Any undesired event, that is, without having caused personal injury
or industrial damage, with the potential of causing them under
other circumstances.

If you are involved in an accident/incident you


must report it ASAP to your Supervisor

Hazard: a source of danger, any condition of a job

Risk: Safety risk is the possibility that an identified


hazard materialize, causing injury to the people,
affect the environment or damage equipment and/or
installations.
