A Technical seminar on “The design

of portable automobile refrigerator
powered by exhaust heat using
thermoelectric modules”

Name: N UTTEJ KUMAR

Roll no: 15B81A03M3
2

OBJECTIVE
 The main objective of this technical seminar is to explain the
refrigeration by using exhaust heat.
 Refrigeration without having any impact on environment.
 Reduce global warming.
 Improve the overall efficiency
Typical Energy Path in Gasoline Fuelled Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles

INTRODUCTION
 Generally Internal Combustion engines will have an
efficiency of 30%.The remaining 30% heat will be lost by
coolants and 40% in form exhaust heat.
 The 40% exhaust heat can be utilized for doing some extra
work.
