distinguish fantasy
from reality?

Identify if the statements show fantasy or reality.
1. The glaciers are slowly meeting because of
climate change.
2. The old balete trees are enchanted as usually told
by elders.
3. Babies have around 100 more bones than adults.
4. Blame your missing things on elves.
5. Don’t cut your fingernails and toenails at night
because it will bring you bad luck.
6. Reforestation helps prevent flash floods.
7. The basic and most important unit of a Filipino’s
life is the family.
8. The Philippines implemented K-12 basic
education curriculum.
9. If you want bedbugs to leave your house, place
some on a piece of paper and leave them in
someone else’s house. The other bedbugs will
transfer there.
10. Leaving some rice in the cooking pot will ensure
that you will always have food inside the house.

Imagine that you are going to sky diving.
Imagine the following steps:
You're checking your equipment, the plane is taking off,
the plane is at 4,500 meters, the door opens, you jump.
After each step, how do you feel?
What did feel real? What did you think was not real?
Think of ways on how a person can fly to one place to
another.

Bert was very tired. He had been camping all weekend


with his Aunt Dot and Uncle Bill. They had left on Friday and
driven for three hours. They went to a nice campground in the
mountains. They had fished and swum all day on Saturday.
They had cooked the fish on Saturday night, and sung songs
around the campfire. On Sunday morning, they ate a big
breakfast and started the long trip home.
