APLIKASI SIMPLE TENSE IN DIGESTIVE
SYSTEM
(THE CLINICAL VALUE OF LNCRNA NEAT1 IN
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM MALIGNANCIES)
1). With a complex physiology and anatomy composed of many ducts and
glands, the digestive system has been found to be involved in the
pathogenesis of many diseases, especially cancers. (passive present
perfect tense)

2). The most prevalent digestive system malignancies, colorectal cancer

(CRC), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), gastric cancer (GC), esophageal
cancer (ESCA), pancreatic cancer (PC), gallbladder carcinoma (GBC) and
biliary tract cancer (BTC), have been identified as the third, fifth, sixth,
ninth, fourteenth and twentieth common cancers worldwide,
respectively. (passive present perfect tense)

3). According to recent cancer statistics, the prevalence and mortality rate of
digestive system malignancies are increasing. (present continuous tense)
4). Therefore, it is necessary to explore novel effective molecular biomarkers to

diagnose digestive cancer patients early and precisely and screen for more
effective therapeutic targets to protect patients from mortality associated with
digestive malignancies or at least to prolong their lifespan. (simple present
nominal ).

5). Additionally, lncRNAs have been used as novel biomarkers and therapeutic
targets for various cancers . (present perfect tense)

6) . However, studies on the role of NEAT1 in human malignancies have remained

limited until now. (present perfect tense)

7). (1)It is worth mentioning that (2)there is no systematic report on the expression
level and diagnostic role of NEAT1 in digestive system cancers. (1.present
continuous tense), (2.present tense)
