In 1962, when the first master plan that was generated for Delhi, C3 A
Ashok Vihar came up under CHBS scheme and has been developing C1
ever since then. In 1986 the RWA of Ashok Vihar was formed which
became a platform for public development In the area.

Ashok Vihar is a predominantly residential locality, present in sub-
zone-3 of zone H of Delhi Development Authority (DDA).The area of B3 B4
study is a 0.69 sqkm patch of land in this locality. LEGEND

The site consists of 9 blocks (as mentioned) which all lie in
Ashok Vihar Phase-II. Block A and B have one CGHS each while
the entire remaining area is a plotted development.
