PROJECT GUIDE:Mr. VINEET SINGH

THE MOTIVATION
• Bomb detection and diffusion has always been major uphill task for security agencies. • The major challenge has been danger to human life involved in diffusion of the project • Also the need for vigilance is ever increasing. • This project tries to automate the entire process and hence address the above mentioned issues.

THE MOTIVATION
• Our aim was to give ourselves the head start in the field of robotics. • To make a cost effective prototype which once developed could be enhanced for more features.

WHAT DOES BORO DO?
• BORO is capable of performing eight distinct mechanical movements • BORO can be maneuvered in any direction with the help of these movements. • As the BORO positions itself with respect to the wire, the end effecter or the cutter cuts the wire.

H-bridge
• enables DC electric motors to be run forwards or backwards

H-bridge

Fig. The two basic states of a H-bridge.

When the switches S1 and S4 (according to the first figure) are closed (and S2 and S3 are open) a positive voltage will be applied across the motor and negative voltage is generated when S2 and S3 are closed.
