In 1920, he revolutionized the Soap Industry by manufacturing the first toilet Soap purely from vegetable oils. In April 2001, Godrej Industries was formed the consumer products division of Godrej soaps Ltd. and was demerged to form Godrej consumer products Ltd. (G.C.P.L).

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. (G.C.P.L), Malanpur
Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, is located at U - 30 industrial area Malanpur, Distt. Bhind (MP) 18 Km from Gwalior. It is a soap manufacturing plant which aims at producing quality product with involvement of quality circles It has been graded with ISO-9002 and ISO-14001 for Quality base on Environmental issues. Total quality management is considered to be an important management philosophy, which supports the organizations in their efforts to obtain satisfied customers.
In present scenario capturing minds of people and ruling them for long requires genuine ostentatious behavior. It has become very important to present your product and services in such a way which can ensure and build credibility among both Internal as well as External consumers.
The concept of total quality management (TQM) was an improvement on Quality Assurance and lays emphasis on continuous improvement, involvement of suppliers and customers, involvement of all operations in the organization, Performance appraisal, team work and employee involvement.
The essence of TQM is the creation of an organizational system that fosters cooperation between management and workers and facilitates learning to implement µtotal quality¶ this, in return would lead to continuous improvement of processes, products, and services and to fulfillment, both of which are critical to customer satisfaction and ultimately, survival and growth of the firm. Panacea can be through building of Quality Culture along with the proper utilization of Human Resource basically following a top to bottom approach.

Survey was carried out on 40 Employees of the Organization which included Officers, Superintendents, Staff and workers who were selected randomly ten from each cadre. Some of the Questions that were asked were: Importance given to Training programmes. Induction programme for new recruits.

Role of Human Resource Management in TQM and Satisfaction of employees. Complacency level with Recruitment and Selection. Complacency level with performance evaluation and Reward system. Individual goals and company goals. Suggestions and recommendations entertained by the organization.

From the study and Research it can be concluded at the end that: A large no of customers are satisfied with the TQM policies and Aspects of Implementation of Human Resource as developed by GCPL. Company gets a huge Benefit in terms of monetary and human development. Employees are capable of handling any crisis situation with a proper tool.
