Meaning of “Nepal”word
 Word derived from "Nepa:" which refers to the Newar Kingdom.  In early Sanskrit sources (Atharvaveda Parisista)and in Gupta period inscriptions, the country is referred to as Nepala.  "Nepal:" at the advent of Shah dynasty.
