AIter acquiring thorough knowledge, skills and competence and
completing academics ,MBA students are ready to enter into
corporate liIe. The placement cell is making eIIorts to place
MBA students and their eIIorts have resulted in the selection oI
MBA students in diIIerent companies like Angels Broking,
Karvy Stock Broking, GodIrey Philips, Collabra.
Students are placed in these companies and would be very
soon starting their career in these companies. MBA
students pay their regards to Placement oIIicer Mr. Omveer
Singh Bhadoriya & Ms. Nishtha Taneja Ior giving a
headstart to the career oI MBA students 2008-10.
On August 21, 2010 CRPP workshop was organized in the conIerence hall oI
Department oI Management. Workshop was based on recruitment process and
recruitment training programs. Mr. Pankaj Gupta, Management head IRTPL
addressed the students oI DOM regarding recruitment practices. He shared with the
students about how to Iind the right candidate Ior the right designation and what are
the requisite qualities that recruiters are searching Ior in a candidate. According to
him, networking is the main source oI recruiting the right candidate Ior the right
job. He Iocused that Job Portals are one oI the best ways oI recruiting people and
not newspapers as they are expensive. The MBA students learnt tips Ior building
their career in recruitment.
Department OI Management reached to another
milestone oI success and its quality eIIorts by acquiring
100° result in third semester (Batch 2008-2010). It`s
the success achieved by the collective eIIorts oI Iaculty
members and the students oI DOM.

making IPS proud as Ms. Vidhee Tyagi, lecturer( HRM)
qualiIied National Eligibility Test, June 2010 with
specialization in Human Resource, Labour Laws, Labour
WelIare and Industrial Relations. Her knowledge would be
helpIul Ior students oI IPS DOM.

The Department oI Management, on October 14, 2010,
welcomed their new students oI third batch(2010-2012)
and the ~Orientation Programme¨ was organized by
Head oI the Department, Dr. George Thomas. The new
batch started learning corporate strategies through a guest
lecture oI Mr. Sanjay Khare, Circle Head Distribution,
TATA DOCOMO on 'Innovative marketing strategies oI
Telecom Industries.¨

The Iirst management Iestival oI Department oI Management
was organized by the students oI MBA. The chieI guest oI the
event was Mr. Majumdar IR, HR head J.K Tyres, Banmore.It
was the conIluence oI diIIerent cultural and management
activities . It was both learning and Iun Ior students . The
event was coordinated by MBA students .Ashish Sharma was
the head coordinator and it was a successIul event under his
leadership .
With Magnotsav` 10 the students developed a spirit
oI team work. They practiced various managerial
skills during Magnotsav`10.Captain oI IPS Family Dr.
Arun Kumar Tyagi appreciated the eIIorts and success
oI DOM. The event was successIul with the support
oI our sponsors- Wipro Technologies(Main sponsor),
TATA DOCOMO(Co- sponsor), and - Geetanjali
jewellers, Nucleus electronics, Relish Bakers, Shreeji
and Media partners Nayi Duniya.
Mr. Vinod K. Bhatnagar, Faculty oI Finance presented a paper in
63rd All India Commerce ConIerence, held at Faculty oI
Commerce, Goa University, during 1st-3rd October, 2010. He has
written a paper on Direct Tax Code (DTC) and the title has been
'Impact oI Direct Tax Code (DTC) on the liIe insurance policy
holders- A Study with special reIerence to Gwalior.¨ It is another
step towards the success oI DOM.
This lecture enabled them to develop a new insight Ior
corporate and helped them in their proIessional career.
