What is Photoshop?
Photoshop is the leading digital image editing application for the Internet, print, and other new media disciplines. It has become a "killer app", embraced by a wide spectrum of developers

It belongs to the Illustration or Design Programs and Image Editor Program.

Why Illustration or Design Program?


It allows you to draw your own images. It has more advanced features than a paint program.

Why Image Editor?


It allows you to edit pictures or photographs and drawings. It has photo-editing tools that can help you edit pictures.

How to Open Photoshop

Workspace
The Photoshop workspace consists of four main components: the Menu, the Toolbox, the Options Bar, and the Palettes.

Menu
The Menu contains controls for common functions such as opening and saving files, as well as specific functions, such as copying and pasting, calling up specific windows or Palettes, and controlling the Photoshop workspace.

Toolbox
The Toolbox contains a collection of Tools for creating, selecting, and manipulating images. It functions by selecting a Tool, and when appropriate, selecting a Color or setting Options for the Tool.

Options Bar
The Options Bar, by default, is placed just below the Menu. Whenever a Tool is selected in the Toolbox, the Options Bar displays the available Options for the currently selected Tool

Adobe Photoshop is a software that lets people edit, enhance and beautify images. In our lives, we can consider ourselves as pictures full of flaws that needs to repair. These flaws are our sins that need to be confessed so that we can be forgiven. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is just like Photoshop. Our sins are being healed by this sacrament while Photoshop, the flaws in our pictures can be removed and edited
