A SEMINAR ON NANO ROBOTICS

PRESENTED TO: Mr. Anil Dangi Mr. Vijay Patidar

PRESENTED BY: Preksha Sanghvi Prachi Vyas

NANO TECHNOLOGY Nanotechnology. or nanotech. Eric Drexler was the first person to popularize this technology in the early 1980¶s . is the study and design of machines on the molecular and atomic level. Researcher K.

operation. construction.ROBOTICS Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design. . sensory feedback. manufacture and application of robots and computer systems for their control. and information processing. structural disposition.

.NANO ROBOTICS Nanorobotics is the technology of creating machines or robots at or close to the microscopic scale of a nanometres (10-9 metres).

.NANO ROBOT OR NANOBOT Nano robot are nano machines embedded in our body performing their duties as. disciplined soldiers.1 to 10 micrometers. Nanorobots are constructed with the molecular components ranging from 0.

NANOROBOTICS IS CONCERNED WITH Design and fabrication of nanorobots with overall dimensions at or below the micrometer range and made of nanoscopic components. Programming and coordination of large numbers (swarms) of such nanorobots. .

NANOROBOTICS IS CONCERNED WITH Programmable assembly of nanometerscale components either by manipulation with macro or micro devices. . or by selfassembly on programmed templates.

HOW NAN ROBOTICS WORKS? .

A mouthwash full of smart nanomachines could identify and destroy pathogenic bacteria while allowing the harmless flora of the mouth to flourish in a healthy ecosystem. add missing oils.FIELDS OF APPLICATION To cure skin diseases. remove excess oils. a cream containing nanorobots may be used. . apply the right amounts of natural moisturizing compounds. It could remove the right amount of dead skin.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION Potential applications for nanorobotics in medicine include early diagnosis and targeted drug-delivery for cancer. monitoring of diabetes. and health care. biomedical instrumentation surgery. .

The robot must also have the capacity to carry medication or miniature tools. an incredibly complex network of veins and arteries. .CHALLENGES Nanorobot has to be small and agile enough to navigate through the human circulatory system.

basically in accordance with each kind of biomedical application.CHALLENGES The nanorobots require specific controls. sensors and actuators. Assuming the nanorobot isn't meant to stay in the patient forever. it also has to be able to make its way out of the host. .

It can operate much faster then their larger counterparts.ADVANTAGES OF NANOROBOTICS A major asset of nanorobots is they require very little energy to operate Durability is another potential asset. decades or centuries High speed is also a significant consideration. may remain operational for years. . It will able to receive power and programming instructions from external via sound waves.

DISADVANTAGES OF NANO ROBOTICS Cluster of different nano robots with one another is harmful. . Installation cost is high. Maintenance is difficult.

. Nowadays. The development of nano robotics is endless and there is more advancement yet to come in the future.cancer and other harmful diseases are also under progress for curing. nano robotics is developing faster day by day because of their use in medical industries. They cure many senior ill patients and renew their lives by the use of nano robotics.CONCLUSION The nano robotic future is very bright. HIV.
