DEADLINE
the last day they can request a change to their course requests for the 2012 – 13 school year is Friday, March 9, 2012.

PALS Selling Stars
 March 5th – 9th, PALS will be selling stars in the commons during lunch for $1 to be placed on banner for Grant – A – Starr Walk. students write the name of young child that they are donating money in honor of. Money collected used to fund research to be able to more easily identify pathogens and then treat infections in young children.

Dodge Ball Tourney
 Pick up dodge ball tournament packets from a PAL or from Mrs. Sparwasser -rm 2103 during week of March 19-23.  Cost $30 per team ($5 per player) which will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Games played on Wed., March 28.after school in gyms.

 Registration for summer school AP and Pre-AP classes is open from Feb. 21-March 30, 2012. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. CHS Cheerleading Try-outs
 Wed., March 7th  mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 in CHS Library.  All info re: tryouts will be distributed then.  any questions, see Coach Mayo or Coach Thompson.  Must have current physical in order to attend the clinic and tryout.

GOLF DIST. PREVIEW RESULTS
 BOTH TEAMS DOMINATED!!! J  On the girls side, Freshman Amber Wang led the way, and won the tournament, shooting 7975  Sophomore Samantha Waldheim got 3rd place in the event, shooting 84-86  Rounding out the team champion squad were Tori Diggs, Mindy Nguyen, and Hannah Fjord  On the boys side, Sophomore Jacob Veerman won the event shooting 75-71  Senior Taylor Schoppa tied for third after shooting two great scores of 76-78  Garrett Moorer (80-76), Andrew Story (79-83), and Travis Stubenrouch (84-83) also played
